So today I want to show you a truly unique – in a (completely) crazy and funky way – line of bags, which are guaranteed to have a jaw-dropping (and I mean it literally) effect on everyone around – the bags by Fuzzy Nation. This American brand is very, very crazy about dogs, which I think you can guess easily by looking at the photos below. And in case you’re wondering – yes, these are really handbags, not plush toys…I guess if you go to a restaurant with a bag like this, you need an extra seat just for it, and when your cuddly pooch starts to ring with your mobile’s ringtone, you’re guaranteed to get everyone’s attention ;-)
Yes, it really is a handbag The autumn weather outside the window is at its very worst, with constant rain, strong winds and heavy clouds, and I can sense the autumn depression just around the corner. Now, I’m not sure what guys do in a situation like this, but I do know what helps us, women, to fight the autumn blues – a healthy dose of retail therapy, of course ;-) So today I want to show you a truly unique – in a (completely) crazy and funky way – line of bags, which are guaranteed to have a jaw-dropping (and I mean it literally) effect on everyone around – the bags by Fuzzy Nation. 'I'm in Vegas' shoe by Irregular Choice Do you consider yourself as bold, when it comes to fashion? Do you have what it takes to go out there and wear things that will distinguish you from the crowd? If the answer is yes, then you are ready to face the ultimate test – do you have enough courage to wear shoes by Irregular Choice? These are by far the most funky, crazy and outrageous shoes I’ve come across so far, and their new collection is a real dare. I love looking at them, but I’m not sure if I’d be willing to wear them – or if my feet would survive it. Still, I could probably find a pair for which I’d be more than happy to make a sacrifice – e.g. for the shoe on the photo to the left, with the gold-cat buckle, called “ I’m in Vegas.” ;-) And what about you? Personally, I'm far too practical to be a fan of huge rings - they stick out far too much and they just don't look good on my fingers. But that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate them when I come across a really fun and original one - like the one with an owl on the photo to the right. It seems that the owls as a motif are here to stay for good ;-) So I took a look at the Accessorize's website, and sure enough, they have an entire range of fun rings; they're all really big and really flashy, but if you have the right kind of fingers to pull off that look, then why not? Here are a few I liked most: Remember the cute scarves from last week? I think I forgot to mention that they come in sets with equally cute, colourful and eye-catching gloves :-)
I have to admit, I never liked wearing gloves when I was a kid – actually, I loathed it - and I kept loosing them constantly, but I think that’s because there was no Accessorize available back then ;-) So if you want to turn wearing gloves into pleasure which defies hostile low temperatures, I recommend these! We’ve all been told many times by now that for the sake of our environment we should cart out shopping in eco friendly bags. Whether from biodegradable plastics, organic cotton or other materials, they tend to be rather dull in design – but recently I’ve come across a series of bags which are not only eco friendly but also colourful, funky and original in their graphic design. Let me introduce you to the Envirosax®, a reusable shopping bag which catches the eye ;-) There are a few ranges available of these bags, e.g. Flora or Retro Graphic design, and I think the choice is wide enough for everyone to find at least one which they really like. Below are my fovourite few, and you can read more about these at www.envirosax.com. So let’s not only carry our shopping ecologically, but also creatively ;-) And I'm back from Rome! The trip was amazing, even though right now my legs hurt all over from the dozens of kilometers we’ve walked for this past week ;-) The Italian capital is not only a city full of impressive monuments and sights, but also a place with unique atmosphere. You can wonder aimlessly for hours, explore the charming side streets and hidden piazzas, and stumble upon a major sightseeing attraction every 15 minutes without even consulting your map. And the food… incredible!
I’ll be posting more about Rome soon, but in the meantime something for those who are temporarily stranded in a much colder climate – same as me. Here is a series of scarves which not only will keep your neck warm, but also will cheer up every coat and jacket with a splash of colour. I’ve fallen in love at the first sight with the one made up entirely from pompons, even though I doubt it’ll be effective at keeping me warm ;-) The scarves are all by Accessorize, and you can find more on this website. Enjoy! And it’s still raining… and raining… and raining… So I can do nothing but keep recommending you original umbrellas with creative design. This time a collection of umbrellas with artistic prints – some straight from famous paintings, some looking as if a huge flower got magically turned into one. You can find these – and more – at www.artistgifts.com/index.htm
It’s been raining the whole day… Well, not exactly – sometimes it’s been pouring buckets, and at other times merely drizzling. Anyway, the result is one and the same – it’s wet. So what options do we have of fighting the rain? Here is an interesting one – these pretty umbrellas available from www.wisteria.com – not only will they protect you from the downpour, but they’ll add a splash of cheery colour to the dreary day ;-) It's gotten cold. And the dark, rain-heavy clouds outside the window aren't helping either. So it's no surprise that I've fallen in love with something called "Pom Pom Heart Fairisle Cuff Slipper Boots" - or, in other words, cute and warm slippers from the new Accessorize collection, the ones on the photo on the left. They're like a home-version of Uggs ;-) So, since there's plenty of long, cold and dark evenings ahead of us - so why not make them more cozy with a pair of fluffy slippers? Here are my favourites from the current Accessorize collection - enjoy! A bag by New Look I admit openly that I have a pretty big handbag collection by now (I’m sure you’d never have guessed… ;-))), but just today I was trying on a little black dress (which I’m planning to wear to a concert this Friday) and I realized something – I do not have a little black bag to go with it. Or even anything in silver, or aged gold or black lace or, well, basically, nothing that would go well with it. So it made me think of the one place you can always go to if you need a new bag asap, and your budget for it is a limited one – New Look. Their bags might not be the best quality, but they are very affordable while at the same time trendy, quite creative and fun. Plus they always have a wide selection in-store, so you can find something for every occasion. Here are a few bags from their current collection – maybe I’ll find something to go with my little black dress? ;-) |
